A theatrical adaptation of a classic revolutionary Chinese film 'Visitors to Ice Mountain'. This was was about the liberation of the Tajik minority in Tashkorgan (west, west, west Xinjiang), a love story, etc. ...and happy dancing minorites. The Xinjiang opera house troupe which is based here in the compound where I live put on the performance, and i must say - technically, I was pretty impressed! My pal Miradel did the lighting design and engineering.
