music mix

I really should have been doing other things today, like getting diverging elements of my life in order a bit more than they have been.

But I was inspired to revisit an old friend – the show – from way out here in my PRC outpost and offer up an hour-long mix of a lot of little somethings that have come my way in recent months. So…an unrestrained set of sounds & music put together on-the-fly for you – featuring music (including many selections submitted by ‘the Wolf’), station ID’s left via the website voicemail page, field recordings, excerpts from recent sound-related news stories, Canaria parroting Spanish phrases, and much more – Enjoy! (and expect more of these)

What a wonder! This beautiful concoction floating in the ether, hailing from the remote outpost, the other side of the planet, a different desert, from here it all seems a dream, no mailing address, just a dream. Thank you for keeping the venerable s&S afloat.

God, how i love you, and I only found you 2 minutes ago so I don’t know the half of it!

At last, radio that somewhat resembles the contents of my mind, and music as varied and daft as my LP collection! It was metawirt on last.fm who told me about s&S, I’ll pass it on to all the other nutters I know.

Deep joy,

As always all i can say is you are not of this time. Radio straight from 3000something as 3000something should be like.
